I have a Fagor Rapida 6 liter pressure cooker. According to the manual, I should know pressure is achieved because the yellow indicator will be popped up (it was up the entire cooking time). I, however, don't get the difference between 'A gentle, steady stream of steam' being released from the operating valve indicative of normal opperation from 'a large continous amount of steam' escaping which indicates I have the heat too high. Would having the heat too high cause pressure loss?
