I just got a Fagor Rapida 6 qt pressure cooker. I want to mainly use it for beans. However, the book that came with the pc says to "add a spoonful of vegetable oil for each up of water to eliminate the foam which they produce." I don't use added oil ... at all. Is this mandatory? I probably won't cook more than a cup of beans at a time, since I'm just cooking for one. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
