I more generally soak overnight, it works WAY better. Lorna Sass has some presoaking indications in her "great vegetarian cooking under pressure" book, but I do not remember it by heart.
Chickpeas can definitely be done with a PC ; they're just still the longest beans. If memory serves, it is 30 mins after max. pressure is reached, and let the pressure come down on its own. For pre-soaked beans of course.But check!
