When I cook rolled oats I allow the pressure cooker to reach top pressure and then turn the burner off and let it release naturally. It takes 5-7 minutes for the pressure to come down. The oats are probably cooked sooner but I have never really checked. Also, I like a ratio of 1 cup of oats to about 1 1/4 cups of water. (with an insert) I think you will like how they come out. Quite different than cooking in a normal pot. Have fun.
