LOL I forgot to put the url in my last post! It wasn't the right pot anyway. THANKS SO MUCH for the link! I've seen those pots many times. I think my mom even has some of them. The Farberware site linked me to Amazon to purchase the pot, with free shipping. :-)

The lady from Eurostoves called back. She said that the 10 liter is not in stock :-( , but she said I should go ahead and purchase it online and that will trigger them to order it. She also said they get their shipments very fast--a week or less. She checked and they don't have any trivets, but she found a non-perforated insert that someone recommended at the store. It's $13.50, so I thought What the heck?!

I think I still need a trivet, though, because the non-perforated one will probably raise it too high for the insert/pot to fit inside. But she said it can be turned upside down to be like a platform. Would I even need the tripod then? Maybe it will be high enough (I can't remember the measurement she told me...seems like she said 1 1/2") to put the 1 inch of water on the bottom. Now that I think about it, why would I need the tripod (or need to purchase a trivet) if the non-perforated insert is tall enough to put 1 inch of water on the bottom? Any reason? The non-perforated insert can also be turned the normal way to put things inside. She said in the cooking class they used it. They put water inside and some little dishes to make pudding or custard (something like that). It also has little handles that collapse/fold down or something.

Have you seen this type of insert? I still need to get a digital timer, too, but that's no big deal. I wish I didn't have to WAIT! I'm ready to start cooking now. :-)
