Gosh, maybe I should get the 10 liter! LOL From what you have said in your posts about the inserts, I thought that I would probably end up using them. When I purchase the Fissler, I'm going to try to buy the trivet. Thanks! So I can't just put the insert on top of the trivet and leave out the tripod? Why can't I do that? I guess because the trivet is too short for when I put all the water in, right? I am trying to picture all this! LOL Also, do the handles of that 6 liter pot come off easily? I have looked at some pots, and see no way that the handles could come off without destroying the pot. I think I'm going to purchase the 8 liter, but I'm tempted to just get the 10 liter, because I'm concerned I won't be able to find the right size insert. Going to call and purchase this Friday! :-) Goldie
