Subject: My Kuhn - No Oatmeal ????

I have a new 7 qt. Kuhn Rikon PC. I was reading the manual and it said that it didn't recommend cooking oats or grains in it. How could this be? This was one of the reasons I bought it! I was looking forward to making my steel cut oats and brown rice, etc.

Any Kuhn users out there beg to differ?
