Take Lorna's pasta e fagioli recipe. Add a teaspoon or so of oregano to the ingredients she lists. After the beans are soaked and you're ready to make the soup, add a bunch of lentils and green or yellow peas. I don't measure it - say somewhere between a half cup and a cup. This will make thicken it to a stew rather than a soup.

Boil some potatoes separately and add them after the pressure cooking is done in place of the pasta.

Voila! A substantial and delicious bean stew.
