You know it's kinda funny you sent a link to Cutco's paid "Culinary Advisory Board" because even they don't even go around recommending Cutco anymore, just look at the link. They just make recipes Cutco submits to the press to try and get some more brand name recognition and make a Cutco Cookbook. Ka-bar is not and never was used by the army. The Marines used it for their field issued combat knives in WWII but stopped using issuing them long before Cutco bought Ka-Bar (Ka-Bar was in the same town and a cheap buy because they were going bankrupt).
