Not sure exactly how long to do it but try it for two minutes with a rapidly boiling pc. If you have a pc that is 6, 7 liters or smaller, it should do the trick. If two minutes of venting solves the problem, then next time try 90 seconds. If that works, then try less time each additional batch until you reach the minimum amount of time which will prevent foaming. Hope this helps.
