I haven't done this - but I think you can cook anything you would normally cook inside your pressure cooker using this method. Just putting the contents inside the insert and the necessary liquid both with what's with what's being cooked and outside the insert on the bottom of the cooker.

I haven't done this - so hopefully someone else will pipe up here. But I think the biggest thing is getting a deep enough base on the bottom of your cooker so it doesn't run dry. Your manual might have instructions or comments about this.
