You might try contacting "Macrobiotic Cooking School of Salt Lake City"
and tell them of your dilema and see if they are willing to send you either a manual or a photocopy of a manual. They are exclusive importers of Silit products. Their web site is:

You might also email their sales department and request a copy of the manual. I have had great success by contacting companies and requesting manuals, mostly I get a copy of the relevent portions which is just fine. Sometimes they will want to sell me a manual which also is just fine. The email address of their sales department is:
