I'm going to offer a dissenting view here. Children mature at different
rates. That's obvious. Babies do, too. You can't make a hard and fast
rule about when every child will be ready for the next step, only
general guidelines, which state 4-6 months. If you're having to feed
him every hour, he's too hungry. I'd definitely try a little rice cereal.
You'd be amazed at the difference it will make. I started giving my
youngest cereal at barely 4 months and he slept so much better.
