I'd be wary of introducing solids at 3 months of age. Everything I've been reading says a baby's digestive tract is still developing until 4 months, I have also read that the earlier you introduce solids the more likely allergies and intolerances can crop up. At any rate, isn't rice usually the first solid introduced, I believe it has such a low incidence of allergy.

I'd do some serious research, baby should maybe just taking more milk (hopefully breastmilk?)
