I am breastfeeding my 11month old son who doesn't eat much else besides fruit & veg. I'm taking a 10mcg B12 supplement daily, will he be getting enough through my milk or should I also supplement him? If so with how much & what is the easiest way, keeping in mind that he's not very interested in fortified cereal food as yet. All the brands I have looked at lately at my local health shop seem to be providing 10mcg per tablet, do you know of any brands that provide a lower amount, or is it safe to give him the 10mcg sublingual tablet? Is it possible to overdose on B12?
Thankyou for your time.
