wow, it's great that there is a concerned family available. That's young for major aggression to surface, leading me to raise the possibility of a medical/neurological concern or sensory processing issue - common in toddlers, but very often overlooked. Then everyone assumes that behavior must always have a "psychological" cause. If they are willing to foot the bill for therapy, hopefully they are willing to go for a full developmental neuropsych workup. It's worth it rather than put child and family through treatment that may miss the real issue. If she's that aggressive, what are the chances of her not getting thrown out of child care? Unless it's a therapeutic day program, which might be what they are talking about.
