I don't know what gives you the impression that we use timeouts or other discipline in an attempt to potty train Michael. That is not true. We negociated a way out of diapers and everything goes well so far. Up to June he was wearing pull ups permanently. Right now he is just 10 min per day for BMs. I admit it can be seen as confusing but that's already a big progress compared to last month. Next Saturday we'll move to the next phase and we should be out of them by mid August. I don't know why but he's been having a blockage on BM since day 1, when he was 19 mo. So it doesn't come from the new sister, who only came recently, although probably she doesn't help. My theory is it has something to do with how they cleaned him at the orphanage. By attempting to move too fast I fear he gets completely blocked. At least so far he's been cooperative. David
