Subject:	FS: Calvert HS Materials K & 1st grade

I bought this to homeschool my child, and we barely touched it. If you are familiar with Calvert, when you order their materials, it includes absolutely everything you will need for the whole school year, for every subject. Teacher's Manuals which have your school year planned down to the day, (it felt like even down to the minute), are standard issue with Calvert. You can learn more about the company on-line by google-ing Calvert Homeschool. I have the shipping orders which came with the materials, which list the school supplies (that they included) which you will need to purchase, as we consumed them, (think construction paper, paste, sidewalk chalk, etc...). It's pretty standard issue.
The Kindergarten school-in-a-box I would like to get $175 for (it currently is for sale for more than three times that amount), and
The First-Grade school-in-a-box I would like to get $225 for (ditto--it is currently more than three times that amount, too). I should note the First-grade package we ordered came with the Math at Third-grade level.
If you would like all your work done for you, all your subjects to be well-prepared in a comprehensive manner, no guesswork involved, then I would say Calvert School in a Box is for you.
I was much too much of a free-spirit to be so organized with homeschooling. I think that's why we didn't continue with it, and why it didn't work for our family, but I know many people who highly-recommend it.
