You don't need synthetic sources of protein!!!! God gave us all we need. My pregnancy was no soy, MOSTLY FRUITS AND VEGETABLES, which provide 40-50 grams of protein daily - and cleaner protein, and better assimilated at that!! I had a totally vegan, mostly raw pregnancy with no processed foods, no soy, and no supplements. My baby was born healthy (of course, that was the whole point!) and a good weight 7 1/2 lbs. Not only that, but I ensured a quick and EASY Delivery. I totally recommend eating light, and eating mostly fruits and veggies!!
My blog about that - http://pullingdaisies.blogspot.com although I don't blog as much now that I had my baby, but all is well with us!
