Yeah, that advice to feed nasty fatty junk foods is just really dumb. Uh huh. Anyway, seems to me that flaxseed ground in a spice/coffee grinder would be a good fat to feed. You can put it in smoothies and it's not at all noticeable. Leafy greens are also very high in calcium, notably kale and collard greens. These can be cut very small and put into soups, salads, and morning potato (I use yukon gold, purple, or sweet potatoes cooked and cut up) stir-fries along with onions, broccoli, etc. Have you tried almond milk? Almond Breeze fairly rocks, it tastes so good and it has calcium. I personally like it better than rice products but they're good too. I think perhaps there are legumes with calcium, maybe garbanzo beans? In which case you can make hummus, you could make that anyway using tahini because it is high in calcium too. And has fats. And seeds and nuts have good fats.
