and, it used to be a big deal that you had to combine beans and grains or whatever to get complete proteins in each meal....more recent research suggests that that was way overstated, and it's not really necessary to worry too much about "complete" proteins. Since many veggie recipes are sort of combined by default anyway, it's no problem; just don't get too worried about whether every meal has protein. As Rachel says, we generally eat way too much protein to begin with.
