I've been having prophetic dreams for at least 24 years now. I, too, often have very vivid dreams. Those are the ones that are most likely prophetic (for me at least). I, too, have deja vu (Woo! Prophet and a poet! Who knew?)

Seriously, though, your best bet is to keep a dream journal. Try to wake up at the end of each dream and write down as much as you can remember. No detail is too small: colors, lighting, time of day, gestures, expressions, items and events in the background even. Who said what and to whom is also very important. If you can't wake up after each dream, write in your dream journal the instant you awaken. Write the date (including the year! Might be important later)and then all the things I mentioned above.

Keep the pen and journal by your bed and take it with you on overnight trips as well. Just because you take a vacation doesn't mean that your dreams do!

After a while, you'll probably discover a recurring theme or symbol. In my case, it seems to be two story houses and staircases. I recently dreamed that I was in an apartment complex looking for my apartment. It turned out to be on the second floor (naturally) and the inside was huge and like the interior of a multi-million dollar mansion complete with hardwood floors (polished and /or stained wood - another recuuring theme). There was a woman waiting on my doorstep when I arrived and the number on my apartment door was 011. Oddly enough, the number eleven occurs with such frequency in my life that it can't be coincidence. Somebody is trying to tell me something! But what that is, I still haven't a clue!

I was keeping a journal for a while, but fell out of the habit. Now that I've written this, I guess I need to put my money where my mouth is.

So start keeping that journal and have fun! I've gotten to the point that I can't wait to get to sleep just so I can see what amazing dream or dreams I'll have!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get to bed. Sweet dreams!
