Yesterday I had a wonderful experience with a little hummingbird. I was checking my lavendar out when the little creature came in for a drink on the aloe plant. It then sat on a branch while still drinking from the flowers. I stood very still so I could observe it cool greenish tint feathers. Then it starts flying again, buzzes towards my head checking me out before flying off.
I nearly cried; it was such an awesome feeling! It knew I wasn't going to hurt it and remaining still allowed it to check out the giant human before moving off to other business.
How cool is that.
