I am as discouraged as you are. I wish I could be hopeful, but the U.S. government is like a poison that has polluted all avenues of hope. I don't know what the solution is. However, I do still believe that peace is possible -- it certainly wouldn't take any longer than war to accomplish its goals. But I am not sure if the power mongers actually want peace, and therein may be the problem.
