One of the Ten Key Values of the Green Party is Nonviolence. The Green
Party is a political party committed, not only to Ecological Wisdom and
Future Focus, but also lasting world peace.

While the Republican and Democratic parties were both running pro-
invasion, pro-occupation presidential candidates, the Green Party ran
David Cobb, who called the war in Iraq "unjust, illegal, and immoral."

There are over 200 Greens in elected office throughout the United
States, and many more internationally. Unlike the Democratic and
Republican parties, the Green Party is international.

The Green Party opposed the invasion and occupation of Iraq from day
one, and has never changed its position. The Green Party is the peace
