Subject: A poem by a Danish poet

I just wanted to share this poem with you. It is by the VERY Danish
poet and pacifist Halfdan Rasmussen. I have done the translation
myself so bare with me if there are too many faults :) I do not know
which year it is from but he already wrote poetry during world war 2
(he died a couple of years ago). Sadly enough, I think that the poem
It is not the executioner who frightens me
not the hatred and the torture
not the barrel of the death
or the shadows on the wall.
Not those nights when the suffering's last stars tumble.
But the merciless world's blind indifference.
