Subject: Hatred, Anger, and Fear

Hi Joanne,

I'd really like your opinion as to what is going on with the Iraqi
situation. I just don't understand the hatred, anger, and fear that
possess so many people. My father-in-law has been overcome with fear
and anger. He is supposedly a christian, but somehow he overlooks the
fact that Jesus was a pacifist.

On a totally different subject, I'd also like your opinion about the
entire McDonald's settlement and all the negativity that surrounds it,
especially from this very website. Isn't it difficult for you, as a
pacifist, to be surrounded by this negativity?
