I suggest you contact Jeff Novick and ask this question. And I applaud you for your decision. John McDougall ( www.drmcdougall.com ) has pursued this path for over 30 years, and it is a rewarding yet thorny way to go. It is also the RIGHT thing, and the only thing that can save our crumbling health care system. I could get on my soap box for hours talking about how I feel that the medical system is cruel and corrupt because they fail to recognize and use current research to prevent the diseases that pay them so much to treat. Good for you, and best wishes in your pursuit. Your colleagues will call you crazy. Listen to and trust your instincts and follow them. I personally believe it is God speaking to you.
