Very informative post! Would you give a couple examples of when you have to recommend meat and dairy? I'd love to hear more about what you've learned over the years about keeping your politics/ethics out of your clinical practice.

As an ethical vegan health practitioner, do you think it wise for me to 'cop to' my bias with my clients? (I think omni's are also biased but more invisibly so.) I'm considering putting a short explanation on my website about how I evolved from a health-focused interest in veg'm to an ethical one. I'd say that I endeavor to put ethical considerations aside but I acknowledge I may still carry some bias. I'm concerned that if I'm simply promoting "plant-based" nutrition, I might be seen as sneaky as well as biased (especially when my clients discover me handing out vegan leaflets to college students!). Perhaps that's too defensive an approach and it's not necessary. Any thoughts?
