Hey Mark! I have been looking at IIN myself. The program is not accredited in NY, therefore completion of program will not get you any kind of licensure. I've been checking out the web sites of some of the IIN grads, and they claim to help clients with health concerns regarding: diabetes, depression, eating disorders etc. Program is noncompetitive, no grades, no way to measure student competencies, and I'm wondering if these grads are doing more harm than good?! No courses in biology, chemistry, food chemistry required. Makes me question whether program is worth the time/money and what legal liability grads have once they start getting paid for counseling services. Have you had concerns along these lines as well?
