Subject:	Where go in NY State/Dietetics or Nutrition?

I'm so happy I found this site! I have a BA in Sociology, and have worked in many fields--fashion, art, media, but the constant in my life has been an obsession for natural foods. I love the angle of wellness, beauty and youth and through healthy lifestyles, and I have lived it/taught it (informally) for years. Now I'd like to make a career of it.

I passed on the Institute for Integrative Nutrition here in NY because it didn't offer concrete credentials and just didn't feel right. I'm exploring options in Dietetics or Nutrition here, still searching NY state requirements for licensing, etc. I'm at a loss. Don't necessarily want an M.S., but want more than a course or a certificate and I want the holistic emphasis in my education and work. Any guidance? Heck, I'm even open to moving if there are financial advantages elsewhere.
