thanks for your reply, mark. i had no idea about the ratio of rd's to hospital beds...that is crazy. especially since so many people are in there for diet related illnesses in the first place. and yeah, i don't think i'm interested in working in a clinical setting. community-based research and intervention is more my speed. i have thought about having my own practice as well.
