I was reading the Veg Faq and found a statement indicating that supplementing with lysine resulted in increased cancer. I am not able to get the article referenced for more information. Could you elaborate? The quote is below:
"When the "missing" amino acide, lysene (sic), was added to the plant-source protein, making it a "complete" protein like animal protein, it had the same impact as feeding animal protein -- increasing cancer growth."
