Hey All, I wasn't sure which discussion board to put this post in, but I'm hoping someone here can give me some advice/comfort. I have been a vegetarian (I do eat egg whites and dairy) for about 8 months now. I have also stopped menstruating for about 6 of those months (and I'm definately not pregnant.) Also, I had a blood test a few months ago and my white blood cell count was very low. I had it retested last month, and the count is still very low. My doctor doesn't seem to be worried about the WBC count because I'm healthy, and accounts for my amennorea from stress because I'm a freshman in college. The plan for now is to just keep getting blood tests every month until my WBC count goes back up to normal, but that doesn't comfort me too much. Could my vegetarian diet be a cause for these issues, and could these issues be related? Thanks in advance!
