Thank you for the reply. Very helpful to see that it can be finagled. I suppose technically I would be allowed to leave as well, as I am required to work 37.5 hours a week, M-F, presumably during the working hours of 8 am to 6 pm. It's very easy for me to work 10 hr days. I also get 4 weeks vacation which can be used as half days etc (I never thought of that). But like you said, co-workers and boss would probably not be too pleased but so be it. Also in my favor, is I know I am a valued employee with lots of exp. in a niche field and b/c of the high turnover at my current place, they might be willing to work with me, if it meant I'd be with them for a little longer. We'll see. I'd try and take all the prereqs at night/community college as I could before taking off work time. Thanks again
