Congratulations on your consideration of the approved undergrad curriculum. See my previous post titled "Other Options for those in Challenging Circumstances". It might apply to you.

Honestly, I'm not so great in chem either. I suggest taking your hard sciences at a community college and transferring the credits. You're more likely to get a less strenuous class, as well as evening hours with similar peers.

That book by Pitchford would meet the definition of "holistic." I also think that I may not be able to define it, but I know holistic when I see it.
