While the ADA cannot be said to push envelopes on a regular basis, and they are accused of being partial to corporate interests, sometimes one must expose oneself to dirt in order to know how to wash the laundry.

The Cert. Board of Nutrition Specialists (which issues the CNS), may be more open to alternative ideas, altho not necessarily veg'n. The CNS is less well known than RD, but is legitimate.
