My guidelines are actually based on limiting the amount of saturated fat, hydrogenated fat, trans fat, and tropical oils. In addition, they are based on limiting sodium intake and limiting added refined and/or concentrated sugars, and also on eliminating refined and procssed grains. In addition, they are based on increasing nutrient intake and density and increasing fiber intake.

What you may not realize, is that by following those simple guidelines, you also accomplishing the above.

The evidence for "all" of the above is well documented
