If I was to buy a rice cooker, and wanted to avoid any potential controversies and/or health issues with using teflon and aluminum, I would buy a stainless steel one. Here is a link to an excellent stainless steal rice cooker http://www.miracleexclusives.net/miracle-rice-cooker-p-157.html It is not nonstick but it is no more difficult to clean than a saucepan used for cooking rice on the stove. The directions that came with it said to add oil to keep it from sticking but you can skip the added oil and it works great. In Health, Jeff
