Hi Bethany >>>I thought I would share my favorite bar with you--Fabe's Organic Original Raw Life Bar. It is naturally sweetened (no refined sugars), 100% vegan, and is from raw organic nuts and seeds AND unsulfured fruits. It is a blend of dates, raisins, walnuts, almonds, coconut, poppy seeds, and oranges. It is truly delicious and I think nutritious. Unfortunatley, I wouldnt recommend these bars. The reason is, while they may be made of mostly natural ingredients, they are high in saturated fat. This bar, which is 230 calories, gets 13.6% of its calories from saturated fat. Thats way too much. Even the American Heart Association recommends we keep our saturated fat intake below 7%. Personally, I think less than 5% is optimal. That would be hard to do,if you ate too many of these. Now, if they would remake them, and leave the cocount out, it would be much better. BTW, their raw chocolate bar is much worse. Its gets 22.5% of its calories from saturated fat. UGH!! In heath Jeff
