doing "no harm" and having benefit are two different things. There are many things people may do, or ingest that may not harm them but that doesnt mean they are good for them. In addition, a Type I diabetic could be harmed from fasting one day a week. My main concern (as I stated) and the main issue is not the physical aspects of the practice of fasting one day a week, it is the concern about using it as a compensation for binging or overeating the rest of the days. None of the fasting professionals would recommend fasting to be used in this regard and caution against it, as I did. In Health Jeff
