In general: My opinion is that no one should take any supplement without having a very good reason to take it, which would include a proper diagnosis, and a related health/medical condition, an understanding of the pros and cons about the supplement including all potential side effect and drug/nutrient interactions, and to be able to acquire it from a source that is proven to be reliable (and not from their own marketing/advertising). It is also my opinion that everyone should do everything than possible can through dietary (real food) and lifestyle means, before considering supplementation. The supplement industry is very poorly regulated and even if you have done the above, you have no guarantee that what you think you are buying/taking is in fact, what you are buying/taking.
