There are many "claims" about wheatgrass but I know of no scientific evidence supporting it use.

I think it is contraindicated for everyone. :)
>>Many peole you use it to detox but I have also heard some very healthy people feel sick after taking it. Is it healthy at all?
I don't recommend it. Nor do I know of any food (wheatgrass of otherwise) that deserves the mystical, magical healing powers and claims attributed to it. And, when you hear such claims, without any supporting evidence, you should be very skeptical.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.
What I do recommend is for people eat lots of grean leafy veggies like kale, broccoli, romaine, etc etc. For those, there are many known benefits.
