Hi Amanda All change, even if its for the good, takes time and a chance to adapt to the new way. Fortunately, this change is for the good and the process of change that you go through, will produce enormous health benefits. One of the differences in this way of eating that many people do not realize is that the calorie density of the foods is much much lower, so though they may be eating the same volume, they are getting in much less calories. That is why you may feel hungry and of course, if you are, than you should eat more, knowing you are eating healthier foods. It may take more than a few carrot sticks to satisfy you, so dont be afraid to consume more healthy food. Many people are under the false perception that eating well and healthy means eating very little and tiny portions. Starvation is not a good thing. :) While many packaged products are not healthy and that is disappointing, the good news is there are those that are, and in addition, there are so many wonderful natural foods that are delicious. In addition, there are many recipes that are very simple, that you can make up to have, and also make extra, so you can keep around, so when you are hungry, there is healthy food around. While, there will be lots more added over time, there are some basic recipes at my website. The shopping lists will be going up soon also. In addition, Dr Fuhrman and Dr McDougall and Dr Goldhammer have some great cookbooks that follow the same principles. In Health Jeff
