Hey Jeff; In another thread you wrote that you get 50% of your calories from vegetables. You have so many degrees trailing your name that it is a wonder you don't get caught in your door. I'm sure you know what the proper meaning of "vegetable" is, but so many people use that term loosely. It would be great if you could clarify for the rest of us. When you say you get 50% of your calories from vegetables, do you mean what most people think of as "salad vegetables"? Do you include legumes under that term? Do you include what some people might call "starcy vegetables" ( potatos, yams, etc ) under the "vegetables" which amazingly enough provide half of your energy needs?
