I can understand people who eat a vegan diet out of a sense of ethics being touchy about "diet talk". Ethics are politics are involved.

I think if a person adopts a diet philosophy for health and then finds themselves getting emotional in a debate about that diet philosophy, then I think it is time for that person to ask her/himself what their true motivation for following that diet philosophy is.

No offense to anyone.
