The main potential problems is B12.


I'm assuming you advocate a vegan diet so the only difference I see
reagarding B12 intake comparing a.(low fat vegan), and b.(low fat
"raw" vegan), is that a., you can eat products that have been
supplemented with B12, yet b., you can still take a B12
supplement. So why would B12 be any more of a problem on a raw
diet?


They run into problems including getting in sufficient calories


Yes, this I think is the biggest problem with a raw low fat vegan
diet.


They often resort to a diet that is either much higher in fat, or
much higher in fruits, either of which will lower the nutrient density
of the diet.


So what's wrong with a diet higher in fruits? Vegetables do not
supply an adequate amount of calories for an active lifestyle so
sufficient calories must come from fruit, grains, or beans.
Considering most nutrient density ratings I've seen, fruits
consistently classify as #2 in nutrient density with vegetables
scoring #1. On a low fat raw vegan diet, fruit is the main source of
calories.
