Subject:	water bottles

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this question but here goes.

I heard years ago drinking water from soft plastic bottles sold in stores was not good as chemicals from the plastic leach into the water. So I bought a hard water bottle, which I heard was okay at the time, and fill it with filtered water. Now I'm hearing these bottles have the same problem. Do you have an opinion on this subject?

Currently I have a nalgene bottle made of polycarbonate.
