If you ever happen to watch cooking shows they often say 'a dash of' or ' a little' olive oil. The chefs are in total ignorance. Most of the time the chefs pour olive oil on various dishes in very large amounts. In one of Jeff's blog entries he writes about ordering a 'monster' salad which most people can't believe he finishes. Although large, as the salad contains only nutrient dense foods and no salad oil dressing the calorie count is probably moderate. Whenever you use olive or any other oil however the calorie count really starts to shoot up, even double even when a few teaspoons are used.
