Hi Jessica
Thanks for your kind words :)
>>The product I referred to is indeed a dairy yoghurt ..... Could you explain why you advise against dairy.. ?
Check the post this morning under

Based on the label of the product you provided, its not that high in sugars, though the added sugars are from fructose.
If you were to use such a product, why not buy a fat free one, with no added sugars and add your own fruit. At least then, that would make it a better choice.
>Could you explain why you advise against dairy and perhaps suggest a better alternative for that afternoon snack, please?
I don't really like to distinguish between "snacks" and "foods", etc. To me, the food we eat regardless of the time of day, or situation we are in, should be from the same healthy choices. So, if you are eating healthy and have some healthy food you enjoy, I would recommend snacking on that. Make extra of whatever it is, and bring it along with you.
However, if you want a snack that is high in calcium why not make a great veggie soup with lots of those high calcium leafy greens (kale, bok choy, etc) and have a bowl for a snack. It will not only be high in calcium, it will be filling, low calorie and really nutrient dense way more than the yogurt and fruit.
Hope that helps

Jeff
